Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Haridwar / Rishikesh and Drive to Joshimath
The journey begins with arrival in Haridwar or Rishikesh. Travelers start a scenic drive towards Joshimath, passing through beautiful mountain roads, river valleys, and small Himalayan towns. The route follows the Alaknanda River and offers stunning views of the Garhwal Himalayas. Upon arrival in Joshimath, travelers check into their hotel and relax for the evening before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 : Joshimath to Govindghat and Trek to Ghangaria
After breakfast, travelers drive to Govindghat, the starting point of the trek. From here, the trekking journey begins towards Ghangaria village, which is located about 13 kilometers away. The trail passes through lush forests, waterfalls, and scenic mountain landscapes. Upon reaching Ghangaria, trekkers check into their guesthouse or camp and relax while enjoying the peaceful surroundings before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : Trek to Valley of Flowers
After breakfast, trekkers begin their journey to the famous Valley of Flowers National Park. The trail leads into a beautiful alpine valley filled with colorful wildflowers, flowing streams, and breathtaking mountain views. Visitors spend time exploring the valley, taking photographs, and enjoying the natural beauty before returning to Ghangaria for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Trek to Hemkund Sahib
Early in the morning, trekkers begin the steep trek to Hemkund Sahib, one of the highest Gurudwaras in the world located at an altitude of over 4,300 meters. The path offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After visiting the sacred Gurudwara and the beautiful glacial lake beside it, trekkers return to Ghangaria for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Trek Back to Govindghat and Drive to Joshimath
After breakfast, trekkers descend from Ghangaria back to Govindghat while enjoying the scenic mountain views. From Govindghat, travelers drive back to Joshimath where they check into their hotel and relax for the evening before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 : Departure
After breakfast, travelers begin their return journey to Haridwar or Rishikesh. The drive through the beautiful Himalayan valleys concludes the trip with unforgettable memories of trekking through one of the most beautiful valleys in the world.
