Day 1 : Haridwar to Barkot
The Char Dham Yatra begins from Haridwar where travelers start their journey towards Barkot, a beautiful town located near Yamunotri. The drive passes through scenic mountain roads and the hill station of Mussoorie where travelers can enjoy stunning views of the Himalayan valleys. Upon arrival in Barkot, travelers check into the hotel and relax before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 : Barkot to Yamunotri and Return
Early in the morning, travelers drive to Janki Chatti which is the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. From here pilgrims begin the trek to Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The trek offers beautiful views of mountains, waterfalls, and forests. After visiting the temple and performing rituals, travelers trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, travelers proceed towards Uttarkashi, a sacred town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, travelers check into the hotel and visit famous temples such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The peaceful surroundings and spiritual atmosphere make Uttarkashi an important stop during the pilgrimage. Dinner and overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4 : Uttarkashi to Gangotri
Early in the morning, travelers drive towards Gangotri Temple, the sacred origin of the Ganges River. The scenic drive passes through beautiful valleys and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, pilgrims visit Gangotri Temple and perform rituals along the holy Bhagirathi River. After darshan, travelers return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
After breakfast, travelers drive towards Guptkashi, an important pilgrimage town located near Kedarnath. The journey offers spectacular views of rivers, valleys, and snow-covered peaks. Upon arrival, travelers check into the hotel and relax for the evening before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 : Guptkashi to Kedarnath
Early in the morning, travelers drive to Sonprayag and then reach Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. Pilgrims begin the trek to Kedarnath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and located in a stunning Himalayan valley. Upon arrival, pilgrims visit the sacred temple and attend evening prayers before overnight stay near Kedarnath.
Day 7 : Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, pilgrims begin the trek back to Gaurikund and drive towards Guptkashi. The rest of the day is spent relaxing after the trek before dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 8 : Guptkashi to Badrinath
After breakfast, travelers proceed towards Badrinath, one of the most important pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Upon arrival, pilgrims visit Badrinath Temple and attend evening aarti. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful Himalayan views create a spiritual atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 9 : Badrinath to Rudraprayag
After morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, travelers begin their journey towards Rudraprayag. On the way, pilgrims may visit nearby attractions such as Mana Village, the last village of India near the Tibetan border. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag, travelers check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 : Rudraprayag to Haridwar
After breakfast, travelers begin the final journey back to Haridwar. The scenic drive passes through beautiful river confluences and mountain valleys. The Char Dham Yatra concludes upon arrival in Haridwar with unforgettable spiritual memories.
