Day 1 Ahmedabad: – Jamnagar (320 kms / 6-7 hrs.)
On Arrival at Ahmedabad proceed to Jamnagar, Visit Lakhotia Museum, Bala Hanuman Temple, known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956, mentioned in Guiness book of World Record, evening free for Shopping, overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2 Jamnagar – Dwarka (130 Kms. 3-4 hrs)
After B/fast proceed to the Sacred Dwarka, Dwarka is a magnificent city, which is situated in the Jamnagar district of Gujarat. This Hindu Pilgrimage place was believed to be the kingdom of “Lord Krishna”. It was believed that Lord Krishna has settled in Dwarka after leaving Mathura, thousands of years ago, visit Dwarkadish Temple & overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 3 Dwarka-Bet Dwarka -Dwarka (34 Kms):
After B/fast proceed to Bet Dwarka, visit old temple of “Lord Krishna”, Nageshwar & Rukmani Temple. It is most popularly known as Bet Shankhoddar. It was believed that Lord Krishna lived with his family when he ruled Dwarka. In the evening return Back to Dwarka & overnight in Hotel.
Day 4 Dwarka – Somnath (249 Kms, 5 hrs)
After B/fast proceed to Somnath via Porbandar facing the majestic Arabian Sea, Somnath Temple is a grand monument presenting a magnificent view. Take a tour of Somnath. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 5 Somnath – Diu (80 Kms)
After Early B/fast proceed to Diu. Diu is a small island covering an area of 38.8 Sq. kms near Junagadh of the Saurashtra Peninsula of Gujarat. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Evening Free for leisure/relax. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 6 Diu
After B/fast, full day enjoy the Beach. Evening is free to relax. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 7: Diu – Sasangir (150 kms. / 4 hrs)
After B/fast proceed to Sasangir, on arrival check in to hotel, in the afternoon go for Jungle Safari, Sasangir forest is today the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in its natural habitat. The forest also harbors a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are the Panther and the Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Chital (Spotted Deer), Nilgai, Chinkara and the Chowsingha (four horned antelope) are also found here, along with the Bear and the long tailed Langur. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 8: Sasangir – Ahmedabad (330 kms. /6-7 hrs.)
After B/fast Depart to Ahmedabad & the tour concludes.
Season:
The Sanctuary is open to visitors from mid October to mid June, while during monsoon months the Sanctuary remains closed. Permission to visit the sanctuary is given by Forest Department, Sasangir on arrival.
